How Cabane Tensile Roofing approaches wind, fire, corrosion and inspection.
Design wind is evaluated per IS 875 (Part 3) for the project location, including coastal and high-wind Indian sites. Steel members follow IS 800 detailing. Membrane patterning includes biaxial compensation so installed pretension matches analysis.
Architectural membranes are specified to Class B1 / NFPA 701 self-extinguishing behaviour with no flaming droplets. Coastal hardware is SS 316. Lightning protection and drainage are coordinated with the architect.
Owners should schedule visual inspections after extreme storms, keep valleys clear of debris, and never attach additional loads to cables without engineering review.
